Geoffrey Crayon, a New Yorker of distinction, small role
Baltus Van Tassel/Dame Van Tassel: 40’s-60’s, a Gentleman farmer, (or Gentlewoman farmer if need be) father/mother of Katrina and a really good storyteller of scary legends.

Rupert Van Brunt, a spiteful schoolboy, 12-16 years of age.
Otto Van Lancker; a young man who is a character in one of the ghost stories that is told. Small role.
Old Brouwer: Older man. Another character in one of the stories that is told. Small role.
Headless Horseman: No lines, no head (just kidding) but needs to be able to ride a horse well!
Villagers (adults) ; have a lines through out as they help tell the story, sing in the choir, are guests at the gathering and create the world of Sleepy Hollow.
Country Girls: Teenage and early twenties girls to swoon over Brom, some lines, also involved in village and gathering scenes.
Students: 5-7 children, ages 7-14 for schoolroom scene and other village scenes. Minimal lines, lots of acting time.
Old Men/Women (3) who can tell a good yarn, nice small roles with short stories to tell.
